PCC was awarded a contract for this CMAR project in March 2021. Scope of the work includes installation of (1) new SBR basin; replacement of all SBR equipment within the existing (2) basins including blowers, mixers, and decanters; installation of (3) additional influent pumps; a new sludge processing building complete with WAS pumps, a disc thickener, polymer feed system, thickener feed pumps, and thickened sludge pumps; (4) aerated sludge holding tanks with hyperbolic mixers, sparge rings for aeration, and blowers (aluminum covers included for thickened sludge storage); and a new electrical service complete with a transformer, standby generator, and switchgear. PCC previously completed a $9.2 million upgrade project at this facility in 2016 that included a headworks building, pump station, EQ tank, UV building, post aeration tank, and electrical upgrades.
