PCC was selected and awarded a contract for this CMAR Project in 2023. Scope of the work included renovation of an existing WWTP to accommodate increased flow from the Honda/LG battery factory being constructed in Fayette County. Improvements include upgrades to the Headworks (new building over existing channels with new screen/compactor), replacement of existing oxidation ditch and aeration equipment, (3) new clarifier mechanisms, RAS/WAS pumping replacements, UV disinfection equipment replacement, post aeration upgrades, solids handling improvements including a new dewatering screw press, and chemical feed facilities.
